I'm grateful for: New shoes! A few months ago, the dress shoes that I had in my bag were compromised by mold that infested my pack, so I had to throw them out. However, in the not too distant future, I'll be teaching for a while meaning that dress shoes are a pretty crucial thing to have.

It's almost impossible for me to find dress shoes in Asia because my feet are no where near Asian-sized; it's even hard for me to find dress shoes in the US a lot of times. Even so, I've been on the lookout for places that might have big sizes, hoping to luck out. And luck out, I did!

A place right near my hotel had some dress shoes hidden in the depths of their roadside stall! I just happened to spy them when passing by. And not only did they miraculously have my size, but the shoes only cost $4! Winning!
