I'm grateful for: Cities with metros! It's nice to be back in a city with a metro! Finding points of interest and meeting up with friends is much easier when there's a metro system. Not to mention, you can wander aimlessly without worrying about getting lost - as long as you remember what metro station is near your place, you can always find your way home!

The SMRT (< works out nice for Singapore that the acronym spells smart ^_^) is clean, safe, affordable, reliable, and really easy to navigate. Can't get much better than that!

Today, I bounced around from Little India to Chinatown to the Botanic Gardens to Orchard Street and then back to "my" metro stop: Farrer Park, Exit B. Twas another lovely day in Singapore!
